The Greater Peoria Regional Airport (GPIA) is a public-use airport located four nautical miles (7 km) west of the central business district of Havana, a city in Peoria County, Illinois, United States. The airport covers an area of 1,000 acres (400 ha) at an elevation of 630 feet (192 m). GPIA has one runway designated 14/32 with an asphalt surface measuring 3,600 by 75 feet (1,118 x 23 m), and two turf runways designated 10/28 and 8/26 with a surface measuring 2,500 by 75 feet (762 x 23 m). For the 12-month period ending December 31, 2008, the airport had 6,500 aircraft operations, an average of 17 per day: 96% general aviation and 4% military.
